Our world are quite different when I was young as a kid. Everything changed in last forty years. Over that time the basic pubic construction just beginning, back to 1980 in China, kids are playing with dirt, tree branch and paper, the only game that can make sound will be firecracker. We never know when we grow up, our kids will have outdoor play equipment on park and indoor playground in mall full with so much colorful toys.

If there was somewhere that can be called as playground equipment, then I think it would be a small piece of land with piles of sand on it for kids to play with. We would take our little buckets and shovel with us, maybe the best toy we have ever owned at that time, same time we are enjoy our day at the playground without feeling dull. Though I can’t recall the games that we ever played, but I’m sure that I had a great childhood back on those days.

There is no need to deny today we are live in society with material abundance both for adult and kids. Adult have better house, better car, all kind of food and lot of pace for entertainment. Kids have toys and playground equipment. Such material abundance make spoiling our children, it is common phenomenon that kids are over protected and follow no rules.

Though they are well equipped with good education, abundant living material as well as enough attention from their family members, the only child in the family can still be somehow lonely for lack of close friends and little chance of game playing. The scantiness can lead to shy character, or worse, autism and egoism. So a good outdoor playground or an indoor playground can be very helpful for those who feel lonely and autistic to get out of the shade of self-pity. Actually, a good playground is not only necessary, but also of great benefit for your kids.

Parents willing to sacrifice their time and fortune to cultivate their kids, some parents forget one principle that kids need more space and freedom for thinking and living independently. Over protecting is hurting our kids nature, some parents even keep kids away playground equipment, they worry to much on their safety, we are not saying no accident will happen during play indoor or outdoor playground, but today’s play equipment are well designed and with protective measures. We should let them play dauntless, it is helps both on mentally and physically for our kids.

Something can not be teach by parents or teacher, kids will forget didactic very soon, they need to learn from real life. A good playground equipment not only please your kids, but will also teach them what is teamwork and how to get along with other people. They may get rid of their thought of egoism through making friends and playing games about teamwork with them. At the same time, their feeling of being lonely can be erased too. In addition, parents can learn what your kids are really interested in by watching what they are doing while playing. Also the relationship will be largely improved if you have a better understanding of your kids. Last but not least, it is a good place to educate your kids about good and wrong, because good emotion and happy playing environment gives you kids more patience and obedience to listen.

Playground equipment help kids to learn by themselves, learn how to respect, communication and cooperation with others at similar age, can learn something parents and school can not taught. Can stronger then body, better on control, better on balance and climbing skill, so playground play an important role on their growth.
