Outdoor playground help kids play wise
Nowadays, in spite of the fact that education should be combine with outdoor activities is accepted by more and more people, the traditional model of classroom education is still being conducted inside schools. Admittedly, students spend the largest part of their campus life in class, where lessons are being taught and knowledge is being accumulated. Children are busy with everything that is concerned with schoolwork and few are given the opportunity to have fun in the outdoor playground. As far as I'm concerned, education is a comprehensive process that should go far beyond the restrictive walls of classrooms. As a matter of fact, the most important education is carried out jointly both in and out of classroom.
At first, students are blessed with diversified channels of education out of classroom. The gate to the colorful world should be open to the students. Statistics show that the number of teenager internet users keeps going up in recent years. Endless sources of information from the mass media help widen the students' visions. Meanwhile, allowing them to make personal comments on a certain topic trains them to think with keen observation and objective insight. As a matter of fact, the ability to distinguish right from wrong, good and evil is the greatest benefit gained from modern media. In addition, traveling is another unique way to be educated outside the classroom. Just as the saying goes that," walking ten thousand miles is like reading ten thousand books."
Secondly, outdoor playground activities is a program is of great necessity for students. These activities provide ample opportunities for students to turn the assimilated knowledge into practice. Theories are only valuable after being used in reality. The limitation of class teaching is getting more and more apparent than ever. People are gradually aware of the possible growth of doctrinairism that threatens the efficiency and importance of indoor education. A most popular trend among students nowadays is to take part in a lot of outdoor playground activities in their after-school time. On the one hand, they can make a lot of new friends; on the other hand, their ability to deal with practice will be largely improved.
Generally speaking, classroom educations lay a solid foundation for other means of education. One's education in life is conducted in a similar way to construct a skyscraper. Classroom education ensures the basement and major structure of a skyscraper, whereas outdoor education makes the building taller and firmer. Simply put, without outdoor playground activities for students, their school life is doomed to be dull and tiring. To a certain degree, outdoor playground activities can be regarded as the powerful backup of classroom teaching rather than its unimportant accessory. Only when the two work harmoniously together can students gain life-long benefits from education. After all, the concept of "to live and to learn" should always stay in people's mind no matter what stage of life they are in.
