To begin with, children have little access to things they are really interested in if they are fettered at home or education institution. Once they are under the situation of having no right to make choices themselves, how their ability in critical thinking could be improved. Children are less likely to put forward question about things they dislike and they would take it as something normal that they will never doubt whether it makes sense or not. However, things are different in the indoor playground equipment. You can see how kids’ eyes are lighted up at the sight of the colorful world.
However, the other problem is the teacher. A teacher of high quality but fails to think critically him or her is less likely to teach kids in a critical way. Teachers are now engaged in some part-time jobs like tutors, which would largely aggravate their payment, show little incentive to spend time teaching and working with students. And what's worse is that even well intention-ed teachers would like to do more for kids often faced insurmountable difficulties. Growing financial problems make it virtually impossible to provide the kind of education students deserve. Therefore, we have no choice but to set hope on indoor playground teacher to make some changes alas well as improvement.
Last but not least, another decisive factor is the role they parents plays. It there are insurmountable barriers provided by schools and teachers, parents should be more careful in finding out children's interest and invest more money to develop their special skills rather that casually drop them among others and have them learn what is of little use to their life. So if they love indoor playground, let them play!
In conclusion, a reasonable revolution needs to be carried on as soon as possible, it can be either carried by transforming the very structure of knowledge, and by extension, is changing the way kids think since they are playing in the indoor playground equipment. None of this will be easy or cheap but it must be done now.
