We are living in a mysterious world filled with questions that still remain to be solved. Either in our daily life or during the office hours, the period of time contributed to the solution of various problems always proves meaningful, sometimes children may also face problems that are difficult to solve. But not all the problems children meet are related to academic ones, they could also be challenges concerned with daily life and have to be solved through practicing. The process of probing deeper into a mystery until the result is out indeed tests our ability and steels our personalities. A strong sense of fulfillment rises up at the moment when the answer is out. So looking for answers through the Internet or books but never put it into practice will do little benefit to children. In my opinion, the best method to acquire really useful knowledge is by practicing. Outdoor playground, as far as I'm concerned, is a suitable place for children to practice different activities and prove their knowledge.

Above all, it is a good way to train oneself to be independent. The symbol of one's maturity lies in the fact that he could solve a problem on his own, without relying on others. Of course, it involves a good command of knowledge and firm self-confidence. Today t still cherish the memory of my very first attempt as the independent interpreter for an important conference before leaving school. By making use of my language skills, I struggled to complete a challenging job. But the master of the language skill also need students to spare lots of effort to handle it, if you want to fluently speak it, you need to practice speaking with a partner or with the help a camera day after day. The same is true of other skills, such as the ability to deal with relationship, finishing a researching task, they all needs practice. So outdoor playground can also be called an outdoor classroom.

Furthermore, using ones own knowledge to solve a problem is a precious opportunity to conduct self-assessment. Doubtlessly, self-evaluation is a necessary premise of one's personal progress and overall development. Most adults forget the knowledge they've learned in middle school or in high schools after they leave school for years. Why? In most cases, it is because their work involved nothing in their knowledge. As for children, this exactly explains why there could be low efficiency in children's study. Today children are given a lot of homework to do but none of them were transferred into practice. Take the articles the spring in the textbooks for example, there are a lot of sentences and words used to describe the fascinating scenery of spring, buts kids can never feel it's beauty because they are not exposed in the scenery when the article is taught.

Therefore, outdoor playground activities need to be accessory for schools but should not be totally driven out by schools as something that would do nothing but to waste children's time.
