Does technology make indoor playground more interesting?

As a double-edged sword, technology has frequently been brought to the center of heated debates. Some people argue that the advancement of modern science and technology has made life much simpler than before, while some others offer an opposite attitude, insisting that technology may cause trouble to and complicate their daily life. As technology spread to every corner of people's daily life, of course children's indoor playground also cannot escape the destiny of being controlled by technology, it is a common thing to see indoor playground equipped with technological devices. As for me, I would tend to express a neutral standpoint on this issue. That is to say, technology has made people's life easier and more interesting in some aspect, whereas it makes life more complicated in some other areas.

On the one hand, thanks to the tremendous accomplishments of scientists in many fields, people's lives have been made much simpler than in the past. With easy clicks of the mouse, the striking speed of computer is vividly displayed. Complicated figures are accurately calculated and arranged, all while people's brains are comfortable at rest, unneeded for these tasks. While for kids, this is something both of benefit and trouble. As for indoor playground, they would provide more comfortable and attracting games and devices for kids to have fun with the help of modern technology. As for children, they would make use of computers instead of using their brains to finish their homework.

On the other hand, excessive reliance on technological support may also bring forth unfavorable effects in people's daily life. In the modern world, there have frequently been occurrences of power failures or technological crashes or breakdowns that prevent people from utilizing technology temporarily. As a consequence, humans might be trapped. With endless problem to be handled independently with their own brains and their own hands. All these problems are far from simple to deal with. To illustrate, imagine while a kid was having fun on a lifting machine in the indoor playground, but the electricity was suddenly cut off or there is something wrong with the control machine. All the children would be terrified and it's a hard thing to think out how to help them out.

So it's a must to hold a rational attitude toward technology and make suitable use of it. People in the modern world can never live without the all-round assistance of technology; however, it does not mean that total reliance on it is completely necessary. Even technology itself is invented by human power and intelligence. As a result, while trying hard to master technological skills, human beings should also be conscious of the necessary to maintain and cultivate more primitive abilities. Only in this way could unwanted troubles be reduced to the largest extent possible. The same is true of indoor playground, though modern technological devices have added more fun to it; we should still take cautious and rational attitude toward it for its better use.
